“I was the foster Mom for five of our younger Parvo pups, four of whom lost their fight. I’m not strutting for the pups though, I’m walking for the dogs waiting in the shelters that need our help, like Lola. Lola just came to NorCal Boxer Rescue. She was carrying two pups when she was dumped at the shelter but by the time she reached our vet those pups had died. Lola’s abdomen was full of nasty fluid and she wasn’t in good shape. In addition, Lola is underweight, has dog bite wounds, pyoderma and parasites. Most dogs NCBR takes in need to be spayed or neutered, have parasites and are thin at the least. I am strutting to raise funds to help dogs like Lola receive the medical care they need when they come into our care.”
