animal enjoy a moment in life for the first time...

feet in the soft grass, a warm place to sleep,
a healthy meal, a pain free day,
a comforting touch, a new toy,
a name, and maybe, someday,
a loving family to call their own....

They all dream of simple things like this during their loneliest and darkest of days.
