Cooper – September, 2010

Cooper found his fur-ever home with Joel K.

“Thanks again for helping us find Cooper. Our first 24 hours have been great. Cooper slept on the car ride home, occasionally waking up to try and get in Anne’s lap. Once here is quickly grew accustomed to the house. At first he was afraid of going down the stairs, refusing to go near them, but he already understands that if he wants a walk he has to attempt them.

As far as people go we have seen him apprehensive and completely fine upon first meetings. But each person seems to be easier for him. Last night we had a dinner party of 10 people and he won them all over. Not only did he loose all worry, he ended up sleeping at the feet of one of our guests.

Last night we put him in a crate and he was fine. There was a couple whining moments but that passed right away and he was good for the night. This morning when we woke up he took his time emerging and was tail wagging and happy.

Overall, we couldn’t be happier. He is a great dog that has already started to open up and become a part of the family.”
