Kobe – October, 2016

We only had Kobe for 19 short months, but he stole our hearts immediately. He was quick to provide snuggles and absolutely always loving and gentle. If we left the house, he immediately opened the bedroom door by himself to the room that had the lowest window and he jumped up on the bed to watch for our return. He loved toys with unique squeaking sounds and loved going for walks with his dad. Kobe loved everyone he met and gently gave his paw or pulled your hand to him to be petted. He ate his food in about a second flat time and we taught him to sing for his supper with a super cute howl. The delivery people that came to the door were afraid of Kobe, but I have no doubt that Kobe was excited to have another person arrive to love on him. Kobe took our hearts with him when he crossed the rainbow bridge and left a gaping hole. He is so very missed. We are extremely thankful and blessed to have loved Kobe. We just wish it had been longer. Thank you to NorCal and his foster family for caring for Kobe until we found him and he was able to become a part of our family.
