Ivy is a petite, happy-go-lucky girl and very affectionate. She came to us as a blank slate as far as training goes, but has already mastered potty training, sitting, and waiting at her crate and doorways to be let out. Ivy is a very quick learner and walks well on leash. She likes bully sticks, but does not chew on inappropriate items.

Ivy gets along well with our small dog and would probably do well with a calm, neutral dog. She also does not bother the cat – when introduced she was interested but not prey driven and she was called away easily. Ivy has also been introduced to children from 2 to 11 and did well, but she can be shy with new people and needs a slower introduction. Our preference is for Ivy to live in an adult-only home or with older kids in a very quiet home.

Ivy plays fetch and brings the toy/ball back. She is also good at entertaining herself by tossing toys in the air and catching them. Ivy is an energetic girl and will need a moderate amount of daily exercise (bask walk, fetch or yard play, light jog, etc.). She seems like she would do well in a home where someone is home most of the time.
