Shorty – July, 2016

Shorty spent the remainder of his days in a loving foster home with NCBR. Run free, sweet Shorty!

“Shorty came to NCBR with many health problems and was cared for by NCBR volunteers, contributors, and veterinarians for fourteen months before he died. He was a remarkably sweet and loving dog. In spite of uncomfortable symptoms of his illness, he seemed to enjoy his life in an NCBR foster home with a special diet, leisurely walks, attention from the kids, and lots of petting and tummy rubs. He bore his illness with great patience and dignity. He was loved and appreciated by the whole family and we miss him.”
