Meet Bingo2 aka Goober. I’m a big happy handsome silly boy who loves life and his humans. I’m around 75lbs and at a good weight now. I love my daily walks and particularly like going to open space so that I can sniff and enjoy the scenery. I also like the neighborhood park as noises and lots of activity doesn’t bother me. I like going to the store and meeting people who may give me treats. Fun times! While I don’t go to dog parks, I generally can meet other dogs on our walks and I am happy to meet people or kids as well. Since I love going in the car, I would also be a good fit for someone who likes to go RV’ing/camping or maybe to a restaurant. My absolute favorite thing to do is to give you a paw and then ever so gently climb up on you as I just love attention and reassurance, but I’m learning that I can’t always do what I want when I want. I’m totally up for learning!. While I need to go out on my daily adventures, I’m definitely on the calmer side for a boxer and after my walks, I really do appreciate a good nap with my pile of blankets. During the day, I prefer indoors but I also love to visit the yard with my family and I have a natural guarding instinct to make sure there’s nothing unexpected going on out there. I don’t like being left outside alone. I was quite suspicious about the pool guy lately but I was told he’s ok so we’re friends now.

Once I’m awake, my daily mission in life is to track down food and so I will check those kitchen counters. Bingo2 was thin upon arrival into NCBR and is definitely very food motivated. We have noticed that Bingo2 will guard a chew bone (in his crate) from another dog and so any adopters with dogs need to be experienced with managing high value bones around multiple dogs. Hopefully in time, with more confidence and structure, Bingo2 won’t resource guard bones from other dogs but for now, this is something to be aware of. Bingo2 has done well hanging out with the various dogs he’s met so far but does not need to live full time with a dog.
