Hi, my name is Sierra. Although I had a rough start in life, I am one lucky dog. I was brought into this world sometime around September 29, 2018. I was found in the Camp Fire and found my way to NCBR during November 2018. That’s where I got lucky!

My foster mom says I’m smart and that I pick up our training exercises so fast. I just think it’s fun to play games while I eat yummy food. I have learned a lot of words already. I know sit, down, spin-left, spin-right, touch, over, through and “park it”. I also ring the “doorbell” when I need to potty outside. I do have accidents still but I’m just a baby, I forget sometimes.

I live with two adult male boxers. I think they think I am the pesky little sister. I need to learn how to play nicely with other dogs. I just can’t help myself. When it’s playtime, I get so excited and use my voice. With guidance and positive experiences, my mom says I’ll learn. I just really like having a doggy friend around.

Toys are incredible! Balls, stuffies, squeakers, chewies, and tugs. I love them all! Mom has had to teach me to bring the ball back to her. I didn’t understand that before but now I think that is one of my most favorite things to do!

Another one of my favorite things to do is to go out to eat with Mom and Dad. I love to hang out near them on a blanket and chew my bone. A lot of people stop and say HI to me. I love when I get to snuggle with everyone that passes by.

Mom says I need to do “work” every day to learn to be a good dog. I’m not really sure what that means. Do you? If so, maybe we should talk.

*** Puppies will only be adopted out to homes where there is already an adult dog, no children under five, and where the dog will not be left alone for long hours. Sierra will need a home with an adult male dog. ***
