Sweet little Texas had an unrepairable fracture, so he’s mastering the art of being the best tripod he can be. He loves rough play and running around with his resident siblings, but he tires more quickly than a fully able pup. He’ll need a bit of extra care and support.

Texas seldom has accidents indoors, sleeps through the night in his crate, and is making progress with leash walking, luring, and sitting. We’re also dedicating time introducing him to various environments, people, and dogs.

He’s a playful and energetic pup, yet also quite laid-back. He enjoys staying close to his person and is an expert cuddler! His curiosity about the resident cat is met with firm boundaries, which he’s learning to respect. He has a love for all kinds of toys, sticks, chew treats, bananas, and ice cubes.

While Texas is resilient and adaptable, a highly active, outdoorsy lifestyle may be too demanding for him. He would be better suited to a home with a more moderate activity level where he can still enjoy walks and playtime with a canine sibling without excessive strain.
