Blackjack fka Jack

Meet Black-Jack! He is silly, clumsy, and still figuring out this big world, sometimes with that blank little stare, like he knows absolutely nothing. And while it’s true he’s still learning, we’ve already seen him start to blossom.

Black-Jack loves treats, gives way too many kisses (not that we’re complaining), and his very favorite thing in the whole world is to curl up on our laps. We even set aside afternoon “lap time,” where he gets turns sitting with each of us, it’s his happiest ritual, and honestly, ours too.

Every day, he comes out of his shell a little more, and with each step, our hearts feel fuller. As we’ve been telling our friends, bringing Black-Jack into our lives feels like we truly hit the Jack-pot!
