Annie – June, 2010

Annie (fka Cheyenne) found her fur-ever home with Julie & Rui M.

“I can’t tell you how happy I am, in my new home. NORCAL Boxer Rescued me froma Tracy Shelter early June, and then I went into foster care for about threedays. My new mommy and daddy saw me online, and fell in love with my sweetface. My mommy contacted Jeri, and then we spoke to Janet on the phone, andthey set up an appointment to meet me that Sunday. You see, my mommy anddaddy had lost their boxer girl two weeks prior from meeting me and theirhearts were broken. They knew they wanted to rescue another boxer, littledid they know, they would fall in love with me so quickly. That Sunday, my parents drove to Davis to meet me in person. My parentsarrived at 12 noon, jumped out of the truck, and were so excited to meet me.I couldn’t believe these two people fell in love with me immediately. All Iwanted to do was give them hugs and kisses. I laid my head in their chest, and I did not want to let go. My mommy and daddy, said, “I was the one, andI would be going home with them that day” I couldn’t stop thanking my fosterparents, Kris & Larry and Janet for introducing me to my new family, becausewithout them, I would not be where I am today. We drove home that day, and three of us couldnt stop smiling. I get three tofour walks a day, eat my bully sticks, and get soooooo much love. We are sothankful for NORCAL Boxer Rescue, mommy and daddy say they are a blessing, and us boxer are their angels. Thank you NORCAL Boxer Rescue, we appreciate all of the hard work you do! Ilove my new home, and am forever thankful!”
