Beau – December, 2015

Beau (fka Bernard) found his fur-ever home with Carol K. & Family.

“We lost our hearing and sight impaired NCBR alumni, Tramp, to an aggressive muscle degenerative condition. As heartbreaking as his last few days were, meeting and adopting Beau has been marvelous and just what we, and our other NCBR alumni, Jane, needed. Although a bit timid and reserved, Beau is really starting to emerge from his shell an has fit seemlessly into our family life. He is gradually adapting to the constant love and attention we provide. Beau is learning about touch, sleeping on furniture, romps throughout our 6 acre yard, and all the joys of country living. He is progressing steadily, and we’ve started to see signs of that famous boxer wiggle when we return home. For now, Beau follows Jane pretty closely and the fur siblings share toys, treats and even a bed! We are so fortunate to work from home where Beau gets the attention he genuinely deserves. Welcome Beau! We look forward to a long and happy relationship!

“Thank you to NCBR and foster mom Cindy Beck for keeping Beau safe and healthy until we could find each other.”

One Week Update:

“Beau has transitioned beautifully into our family and I can’t recall not having him. He and Jane are soul mates and enjoyed pulling ornaments from the Christmas tree and unwrapping presents! First photo shows their ” it’s time for a bath face” (pic #4 below) and second one is their “what trouble can we get into now?” look (pic #5 below). We are so honored to share our home with these amazing and much loved boxers. <3″

Update 02/14/16:

Beau is still doing well and his mom sent this cute picture of him on a Valentine’s Day walk.
