Gretel – January, 2010

Gretel came from a local shelter yesterday; today while under anesthetic it was discovered she had a HUGE mast that had attached itself to several organs including her bladder. Sadly we were not able to save her.
A note from one of the volunteers that transported her to an ncbr vet:
Run free sweet Gretel. You were quite a talkative companion while we made the 5 hr trip – I’m sure both of the males enjoyed hearing you “tell them all about it.”
Hugs baby girl, please look for my Katie at the Bridge – she will show you the ropes and she was also “hell on wheels” and a communicator.
During the last day of your life you were “loved” and taken care of….which is what all of us hope for.
