Meg is a lovely and fun lady. In the right environment, she will undoubtedly be a great companion dog. Are YOU high energy? Do you enjoy A LOT of activity? Then Meg is your girl!
While Boxer lovers often describe the breed as high-energy, that perception is typically due to their playful, goofy nature—they are generally quick to relax and nap on the couch. Meg, however, genuinely requires more physical activity than the average boxer. Her new family must be prepared to meet her energy needs in order for Meg to thrive. Meg is constantly on the move!
Meg is like a boxer gymnast–smaller build, agile and lots of confidence. She has the classic flashy fawn marking with a mask, but an adorable right ear tip that looks like its been dipped in white with fawn freckles. She also has a full tail. She is affectionate and loves a good cuddle. Meg is independent and will happily stare out the window, or around a backyard, on her own while alerting you to any approaching delivery driver or squirrel. She likes squeaky toys and balls. One of her current favorites in a plush corncob that crinkles and squeaks. Meg enjoys boxer-style playful wrestling with other dogs. She is down for a long walk or hike. She enjoys casually exploring the backyard while you garden. She loves a good stretch of yard to get her zoomies out, but after a few minutes will just lay down and enjoy nature. Meg has mastered sit and is working nicely on stay, come, and shake.
