Hi, we adopted our sweet boy, Radley, April 2007 from NorCal. We are so sad and broken hearted to share the news that he recently went to the rainbow bridge. Shortly after we adopted him, we moved back up to MN for 4 years. He was our rock. We lost his fur sister while in MN and two cats and handled getting a new fur boxer sister and our first daughter perfectly. We moved back to Texas 2 1/2 years ago. He suffered severe allergies and was diagnosed with ARVC November 2012. He was doing great with meds, but the last couple weeks was starting to slow down. He is such a special dog. He was so gentle, we always said he had an old soul. A part if our family is missing, but he will always live in our hearts. We are so blessed that we were able to adopt him and give him the love and care he so needed and deserved. Sadly, he passed in his sleep while we were not home, but was laying on the floor next to my mom on the couch. I came home and he didn’t greet me and immediately I knew something was wrong as he always greets me at the door. I’m comforted that he was at home and in his sleep. We believe it was heart. He had such a strong will to survive and had been through so much. We love him and miss him terribly.
Thank you NorCal for all that you so for all these wonderful dogs!
