Rosco is a young, exuberant, goofy lovebug with a whole lot of personality, and even more love to give! He’s affectionate, eager to please, and happiest when he can be right by his person’s side. And when we say “by your side,” we mean preferably touching you at all times!
This handsome boy has plenty of youthful energy and would thrive with an active person or family who will keep him engaged. Rosco loves playing ball, running around, and is always up for a good game of hide-and-seek or chase. He’ll happily wear you, and himself, out before collapsing into your lap for some well-earned face rubs and affection.
Rosco is also a smart boy and a fast learner. He’s housebroken and crate trained, responds to his name, walks nicely on leash, and is working on commands including sit and down. He’s very food motivated, although Rosco would like it noted that he has discerning tastes and tends to prefer the gourmet offerings!
While Rosco would much rather spend all day with his humans, he will settle into his crate while they’re away and patiently wait for them to come home so he can get back to the important business of loving them.
Rosco currently lives with another dog and is continuing to learn good canine manners and how to appropriately interact with his four-legged friends. He could be perfectly happy as the only dog in his home, or potentially live with a patient canine companion who is a good match for his playful enthusiasm.
Because Rosco is still young, energetic, and sometimes a little rambunctious, we think a home with older children would be the best fit for him.
More than anything, Rosco is looking for someone who wants a fun, affectionate companion to share life with. Give him an adventure, a ball to chase, some tasty treats, and a lap to crash into afterward, and you’ll have one very happy, and very devoted boxer boy.
