River – March 2021

River was a gentle giant who was rolled out of the shelter on a gurney and, with veterinary care, briefly regained his ability to walk and even romp happily with his foster sister.  Our hopes for River were dashed when, shortly after regaining his mobility, he began suffering seizures and again lost his mobility.
