Dave is quite possibly the goofiest dog you’ll ever meet. He’s pure joy on four legs, with a gift for keeping his people laughing through his silly antics and wonderfully expressive personality. Exuberant, busy, and quick on his feet, Dave is always ready for action and fun.
Once his physical and mental needs are met, Dave settles nicely and can truly relax in the house. He absolutely loves toys and would thrive in a calm, predictable, and relatively quiet home where he can play hard, get his wiggles out, and then unwind.
Dave must be the only dog in the home. He does best when he doesn’t have to share space, attention, or resources, and being a solo dog allows him to feel secure, regulated, and at his best. Although Dave is an exuberant guy, Dave’s ideal home is a quiet one with people who enjoy interacting with him—playing with toys, spending time together, and providing both structure and affection. He would love living in a home with a yard where he can run, play, and burn off energy with his humans.
Dave is comfortable being crated or left free in the house, and at night he’s happy to either snuggle up with you or sleep in his crate. If you’re looking for a hilarious, medium-energy companion who thrives as an only dog and will reward you with laughter, devotion, and a big personality, Dave might just be your guy.
