Mattie

Mattie is a sweet and beautiful puppy. She has been socializing with two resident adult boxers and was with her brother Alfalfa until he was adopted. She likes to play outside with the other dogs, do zoomies, chew on sticks, explore, play with stuffie toys, eat ice cubes, and give kisses. She has been known to pause play for some snuggling!

She has been learning basic commands and manners. She does great meeting new people and they all say how sweet she is. She has visited a busy winery and a hair salon where she was calm and gentle while getting lots of attention. She eagerly runs into her crate for mealtimes and sleeps in it at night. She does well around the resident cat. Once in a while she tries to test his boundaries but he lets her know who is boss! She enjoys playing around water and does well during bath time.

When Mattie is crated during the day she can be vocal communicating her excitement or when she needs to go outside to potty. She would much rather hang with the pack and play when everyone is out. She sometimes uses her bark outside during playtime too, but she doesn’t bark at objects, people, or other dogs. She is full of energy and a bit mischievous, yet gentle, calm and loving. Her striking features and sweet, playful personality make her hard to resist.

The ideal home for Mattie is one she can socialize with her family, continue her training, and have a new sibling to run around and play with in the yard.

*Puppies will only be adopted to a home with a preexisting adult dog, no children under age five, no unfenced pools, and where the puppy will not be home alone for long hours.
