Lauren – September 2023

Lauren turned out to be the absolute most amazing companion of my life, having made it to one-week past six-years: 09/03/2017 – 09/12/2023.  She battled cancer during the final three months of her life, and was such a trooper right up to the very end.

Lauren is survived by Cirrus, an estimated year or more younger.  We are both devastated from the shock of today’s events, and will miss her dearly as we were all inseparable since 2017.

She was able to experience both the mountains and the beaches of both coasts; living in the wintertime snow and the summertime tropics.  With a bubbly personality, she was always and to the final day excited for whatever was next.  Just this morning I recall her even running out to the car for the ride to the veterinarian.

I know you’re not supposed to have favorites as they’re all wonderful and unique, but given her past as a rescued bait dog, along with her commitment to inseparable companionship, she will be dearly missed.
