Ella was a beautiful, sweet, gentle soul. She was with us as a foster for only a few weeks to recover and prepare for her next page, but unfortunately she was too ill. She tried. We tried. The impression she left behind is deep. She insisted on cuddles and she got them. This petite little one slept between our pillows and heads at night, and next to or on our laps as much as possible. Ella would light up when touched, loved being hugged and kissed, and never complained about anything but being alone. She will be missed terribly and I feel like a piece of me crossed the rainbow bridge with her. I do know that we gave her all the love we could. Shelley and I will miss you, “Little Lady”. You made a huge paw print on our hearts.
