Spanky is the biggest of the three siblings we are fostering here. He has such a thoughtful face with his wrinkles! Spanky is a sweet, smart boy and a little more on the sensitive side and slightly more shy than his other two siblings here. He loves to play with the resident adult dogs, as well as his brother Porky and sister Jane. He loves doing zoomies in the back yard or up and down the hallway. Spanky will help you in the garden as well – he has already caught his first gopher and will carry away the weeds you pull. Spanky plays with all of his different toys and chews but his favorite activity is to spend time outside running around being a puppy. Potty training is going well and Spanky uses the dog door consistently from his indoor area to go out and go potty. When in the rest of the house we still take him out frequently and he is good about going potty for us outside while we wait. Spanky sleeps through the night in his crate without accidents or destroying bedding. Spanky has also been learning since 6.5 weeks old to sit calmly for attention and at doors, baby gates and to come out of the crate with the “free” command. Being a puppy, he is not 100% consistent by any means but is doing very well. While not a big fan of baths or water, Spanky is good about getting his nails trimmed. Spanky knows sit and is learning his other commands. He walks well on a leash/harness, with an automatic sit when we stop or pause. He is very food motivated and a quick learner. We have resident cats here but they have not shown any interest in educating the pups on manners with cats. The pups are still young so we will continue to try to get our cats to interact with them a bit more. Spanky is fostered with his brother Porky and sister Jane

*Puppies will only be adopted to a home with a preexisting adult dog, no children under age five, no unfenced pools, and where the puppy will not be home alone for long hours.
